More of a traditionally vectoresque style background of Rockabilly Beach, incase you hated the beach scene.

 Even if the other piece certainly deserved the DD, I personally enjoy this one more. The color shceme is much more consistent here, and this background brings forth the subject, instead of distracting from it (as I thought the beach scene did). Both pieces are impressive work though, keep it up!

-- May Peace and Love stay with us Forever...  I think you've done the most magnificent job, one day I hope to grasp the gradient mesh tool as well! The thumb looks photographic! So well executed, I really thought it was a photograph. Awesome.
